The Lab
Lab Work

Oxygen Barrier Testing
We have a Mocon Oxtran 2/21 ML and an Illinois Instruments 8001. These units boast variable temperature and independent RH control on both the dual-head test cell’s oxygen and nitrogen sides. Testing can be conducted at relative humidities ranging from 20 – 90% RH, or dry, and temperatures ranging from 5 – 50°C (41 – 122°F).
Water Vapor Barrier Testing
We have two state-of-the-art Water Vapor Transmission Rate test units: a Lyssy L80-5000 module and a MOCON Permatran W 3/33 MG plus. Testing can be performed at temperatures ranging from 5 – 50°C (41 – 122°F) and relative humidities ranging from 5- 100% RH.
Metal Adhesion Testing
We have developed our own internal test method to generate metal-to-film bond strength data with industry-leading reproducibility. Testing is highly accurate up to 1000 g/in.
Corrosion and Metal Integrity Testing
We have expanded our testing capabilities with a metal integrity rub tester and sophisticated corrosion testing ovens, as well as an emissometer to complement our REFLECT-MET™ and other top-coated products.
