Transparent Barrier Films
Silicone Oxide Coated Films and Aluminum Oxide Coated Films are available in a number of substrates and a range of gauges.
Heavy Metallization (4.0 optical density)
A consistent metallization density ensures a flat, quality roll of film with no gauge bands. Roll mapping verifies optical density consistency throughout the roll.
Susceptor or Light Density Metallizing
A highly controlled product, maintaining a tolerance of +/- .02. Suitable for the most stringent applications.

The Lab
Oxygen Barrier Testing
We have an Illinois Instruments 8001 model OTR. This boasts variable temperature and independent RH control on both the oxygen and nitrogen sides of the dual-head test cell. Testing can be conducted at relative humidity ranging from 20 – 90%RH, or dry, and temperatures ranging from 5 – 50°C (41 – 122°F).
Water Vapor Barrier Testing
We have two state-of-the-art Water Vapor Transmission Rate test units: a Lyssy L80-5000 module and a MOCON Permatran W 3/33 MG plus. Testing can performed at temperatures ranging from 5 – 50°C (41 – 122°F) and relative humidities ranging from 5- 100% RH.
Metal Adhesion Testing
We have developed an adhesion test method to generate metal-to-film bond strength data with industry-leading reproducibility. Testing is highly accurate up to 1000 g/in.
Corrosion and Metal Integrity Testing
We have expanded our testing capabilities to include a metal integrity rub tester, sophisticated corrosion testing ovens, as well as an emissometer to complement our REFLECT-MET™ QC testing and other top-coated product testing requirements.
